1. What inspired your latest book or book series?
My latest series, The Rose Saga was inspired by my love of dark fantasy and the erotic elements that come with dark fantastical characters. I had always wanted to be able to write an erotic story, but never truly had the guts, but August 2012 saw me put that behind me and I got brave. The result I am happy with.

2. Who is your favorite book character of all time? Why?
Alex Cross. I can’t help it. I’ve been a fan of Patterson from my late teens and fell in love with all things Alex Cross. I feel like I am a part of his life and journey when I read his stories.

3. What lessons has writing taught you about life in general?
Not to put all eggs in one basket and to never truly judge a book by its cover. Hard lessons are learned, but you can go one of two ways: you either get back on the horse, or you let the bad win. I tend to pull myself together and come back stronger and am more driven than ever before. I’ve been doing this almost five years now. And yes, it is hard work, don’t ever think that it’s not, but you know something, all it takes is one good genuine fan to make you realize just how worthwhile you are.

5. Who would you most like to have a cup of coffee with? (Dead or alive) Explain…
Stephen King. Oh lordy, that man…I would love to hear his stories about how he overcame the pile of rejections that us writer’s put up with. I would love to hear his take on how he perceives the Indie world and how it is beginning to dominate the charts, and more than anything, I’d love to just sit back and listen to him. He is amazing.

6. What is your biggest pet peeve?
I hate rudeness. No really, I do. I cannot understand why another human being thinks it’s befitting of them to tear someone to shreds, even when they have no idea about that individual. To publicly try to shame someone because they do not believe in their beliefs, gender, sexuality or race. I think it’s disgusting and the world needs to wise up. We’re meant to be evolving; the superior specie. But somewhere along the line we’ve become hypocrites. It’s sad.

I can sand board very well, and I love singing.
