Paranormal Belief
Belief in the paranormal is the natural state to many of us.
For the religious faithful it is fact. The Christians belief in the paranormal originates from the knowledge that it is a belief system based not in the natural world rather the supernatural one.
The popularity of such shows as Ghost Hunters, Paranormal Witness and countless others displays a hunger for knowledge and a seeking of the reality of life after death.
A good Ghost Story draws us in and suspends disbelief at least for the duration of the book or movie production.
I think we all posses the feeling that this short life span we are given cannot be all there is somewhere in our psyche.
The Atheist may protest any belief but put them in a life-threatening situation and they will most likely cry out to someone or something for help.
Vampires and mummies may not be something we hold as real but spirits and an afterlife are common to most.
Good verses evil is something we live with everyday, just turn on the local news
Whatever your personal belief system may be there is a great curiosity concerning that, which is not considered the norm.
